Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. at the East Valley JCC
Tuesdays at the J is a group for individuals and couples ages 55-plus who meet weekly to enjoy presentations on a variety of topics. Past programs have included live musical performances by local musicians and art presentations by museum docents and artists, as well as presentations by authors and more. All sessions are free and no membership is required. Registration is required. Register below.
Jan. 17: Did My Great-Great-Grandfather Really Have Three Wives? A Personal Genealogy Journey
Presented by Judi Missel
Judi Missel, a member of the Phoenix Jewish Genealogy Group and the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies, has been fascinated by genealogy for over 30 years. She has researched a variety of biographies and family histories. Judi frequently speaks about the Holocaust and Hungarian research and also teaches people how to start their own personal genealogy journey.
She also teaches “Step-by-Step Jewish Genealogy,” an online EVJCC class that starts on Feb. 7.
