Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. at the East Valley JCC
Tuesdays at the J is a group for individuals and couples ages 55-plus who meet weekly to enjoy presentations on a variety of topics. Past programs have included live musical performances by local musicians and art presentations by museum docents and artists, as well as presentations by authors and more. All sessions are free and no membership is required. Registration is required. Register below.
March 21: Current Events in Israel and an Update on the Fight Against Anti-Semitism
Presented by Jake Bennett, director of policy and legislative affairs for the Israeli-American Coalition for Action
Jake Bennett has served since 2019 as Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs for the Israeli-American Coalition for Action (IAC for Action), a sister-organization of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) that advocates to policymakers nationwide on behalf of the Israeli-American and pro-Israel communities on a range of issues at the federal, state, and local levels.
Prior to joining IAC for Action, Jake served as Arizona Regional Director for the ADL. Jake also spent 15 years working in investment management and founded and ran his own business, during which time Jake served on the boards and committees of a number of Jewish nonprofits.
Jake holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA from Amherst College.
Jake was raised in New Jersey and holds dual citizenship, US and Israeli. He served in the Israel Defense Forces from 1999 to 2001. Jake currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and two children.
