Tuesdays at the J

Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. at the East Valley JCC

Tuesdays at the J is a group for individuals and couples ages 55-plus who meet weekly to enjoy presentations on a variety of topics. Past programs have included live musical performances by local musicians and art presentations by museum docents and artists, as well as presentations by authors and more. All sessions are free and no membership is required.  The program starts at 10 a.m. with refreshments and the presentations are 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Cultural Development in Chandler

A Presentation by Kim Moyers, Cultural Development Director of the City of Chandler

Kim has been with the City of Chandler for over 10 years and is currently the Cultural Development Director, overseeing the Chandler
Center for the Arts, Vision Gallery, Chandler Museum, Special Events, and Downtown Redevelopment for the past five years.
With almost 30 years of experience in downtown development and redevelopment, Kim’s passion is creating spaces where people can live, work and play, fostering cultural enrichment and economic growth within the community.
Originally from Indiana, Kim started and maintained a career in economic development and the Mainstreet movement. Kim is a
graduate of Indiana University, Economic Development Institute and certified as a Business Improvement District Specialist through Rutgers University.

She is involved in several organizations including the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership, International Downtown Association, and Positive Paths.
