The East Valley JCC is thrilled to announce that Sam Schuman started this week as the East Valley JCC’s Camp, Youth & Family director.
Sam has been a part of the JCC Camp community since he was in diapers. From camper to junior counselor to athletic head and now director, Sam has experience in nearly every aspect of camp life. He has spent time at both the Baltimore and Philadelphia JCCs teaching children the fundamentals of having fun, rachmanus (sportsmanship and compassion), as well as community and looks forward to bringing that energy to Camp Rimon Gadol.
In his free time, you can find Sam watching any one of the latest Marvel movies or at the ballgame rooting on his hometown Orioles and Ravens. Contact him at sam@evjcc.org.
