The East Valley JCC recently announced a staff change in Camp Rimon Gadol.
Our previous Camp Rimon Gadol director Andre Ivory recently resigned from his position as the EVJCC’s camp and program director due to personal and family issues. He will continue to lead the Ilene Blau Teen Leadership Institute for the remainder of the year and continue his involvement with the Ladles of Love program. We support him in this decision and wish him the best. We are sad to see him go and remain thankful for all he brought to the EVJCC.
Brianna Williams is now the EVJCC’s camp coordinator and is currently busy planning Spring 2019 and Summer Camp 2019 for Camp Rimon Gadol (for campers in kindergarten through ninth grade), as well as our T.A.L. (Teens as Leaders) program.
Brianna has worked at the EVJCC since August 2016 in various capacities, including working with Andre as the Camp Rimon Gadol assistant director during the summer of 2018. She has many years of experience running programs and camp for children and teens, including planning and executing Fall, Winter and Spring Camp at the EVJCC. She will use this experience as she prepares for an amazing Summer 2019!
The EVJCC management team plans to start a search for a new camp director as soon as possible.
Brianna and many of our summer staff will be at the Camp Rimon Gadol open house 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10.
If you have any questions about the search for a camp director, email Rabbi Michael Beyo, EVJCC CEO.
