A group of 12 Camp Rimon Gadol campers in grades 6-9 were in Southern California this week for an overnight trip.
The group left Monday for Long Beach, where they stayed at the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach. The four-day trip included a day at Knott’s Berry Farm and time on the beach, visiting Venice Beach, Santa Monica and Downtown Disney.
The two biggest highlights of the trip were Knott’s Berry Farm and the beach, according to the campers who were asked what their favorite part of the trip was.
One of the campers, Sammy, said her favorite part was “facing my fears of roller coasters and I actually went upside down.”
