About Joel
Joel Chasnoff was born in Chicago but volunteered for a combat unit in the Israeli Army when he was 23. He shared his experiences in his book, “The 188th Crybaby Brigade.”
After his service, he stayed in Israel for a career as a comedian. He has performed on stages and screen in many countries, including USO tours of Japan and Korea as well as over a thousand appearances in North America, Europe and Israel.
