Empower Yourself: Protect Your Family

The Early Learning Center at the East Valley presents a workshop that teaches Krav Maga techniques and environmental awareness skills tailored for parents.

Thursday, Jan. 23 | 7-8 p.m.

Adael Bryant, a former government agent and current sergeant major in the IDF, will use Krav Maga techniques to teach about: 

  • Situational awareness in parks, parking lots and public spaces
  • Escaping grabs and holding a child while defending
  • Using everyday objects (like bags or umbrellas) as self-defense tools
  • Real-life drills to prepare for unexpected situations

This workshop isn’t about fear—it’s about empowerment. Walk away with the skills, confidence, and peace of mind every parent deserves.

Adael Bryant, 28, is a martial artist with a rich background in combat sports and self-defense. Since 2015, he has trained and competed globally in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while also honing his skills in Muay Thai and Krav Maga.

As a former government agent and current sergeant major in the IDF, Adael has first-hand combat experience, including participation in real-time warfare and work with classified overseas units.

An expert in executive protection, he has provided security for high-profile individuals in the U.S. and Canada. As a Krav Maga instructor, Adael focuses on real-life battlefield scenarios, bringing authentic and effective self-defense techniques to his students.

The workshop is free.

Babysitting is available for children who are enrolled in the Early Learning Center, ages 6-weeks to kindergarten. 

Babysitting cost is $10/child. Please register for babysitting below.
