About the speaker
Dr. Q is a graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine where she focused her studies on comprehensive family practice and pediatrics. Her naturopathic journey began years ago after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University. She has experience working in pediatric home health care and in a residential treatment facility for children. Dr. Q has years of experience as a massage therapist, contributing to her passion for hands-on medicine and therapies.
Dr. Q’s treatments emphasize the body’s natural ability to heal itself and include acupuncture, nutritional medicine, hydrotherapy, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and other modalities. She has a special interest in pediatric medicine including acute care.
Dr. Q has also worked as an adjunct professor of anatomy and physiology at Phoenix College. She spends her home time being a partner to her husband and mother to her three home-birthed children. She believes passionately in health education and preventative medicine and feels the most gentle, effective intervention is the best medicine. Dr. Q is an amateur artist and gardener; she believes in connecting with the earth and our food sources as part of healing.
