Commemorating the 1862 Battle of Puebla (not Mexican Independence Day!), Cinco de Mayo (“the 5^th of May”) has become a favorite celebration outside of Mexico, in Mexican communities, and for all in restaurants & bars throughout the world. Join popular San Francisco Bay Area instructor James Sokol for a festive, musical journey through songs of a variety of genres – classical, pop, Broadway, opera, country & more – that are from or about Mexico. Audio & video clips bring the music into our celebration!
