Tuesdays at the J

Tuesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. at the East Valley JCC

Tuesdays at the J is a group for individuals and couples ages 55-plus who meet weekly to enjoy presentations on a variety of topics. Past programs have included live musical performances by local musicians and art presentations by museum docents and artists, as well as presentations by authors and more. All sessions are free and no membership is required.  The program starts at 10 a.m. with refreshments and the presentations are 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Adrian Bendick, Tuesdays at the J coordinator

Adrian taught elementary and middle school for a total of 40 years in both Philadelphia and in Maricopa, AZ. In the ’80s, she did stand-up comedy at night. She was chairman of the East Valley Jewish Film Festival and co-chairman of the Greater Phoenix Jewish Film Festival. Adrian has been the coordinator of  Tuesdays at the J (previously called Terrific Tuesdays) since 2013, after serving one year on the Board of the EVJCC. She loves traveling and has traveled a great deal over the years.
