Tuesdays at the J is a group for individuals and couples ages 55-plus who meet weekly to enjoy presentations on a variety of topics. Past programs have included live musical performances by local musicians and art presentations by museum docents and artists, as well as presentations by authors and more. All sessions are free and no membership is required. The program starts at 10 a.m. with refreshments and the presentations are 10:30-11:30 a.m.
RegisterHoward Gershkowitz lives in Arizona, though he hails from New York City. Journaling for more than 40 years, he began submitting and publishing 12 years ago. To date, more than three dozen poems and eight short stories have appeared in print. His debut novel, ‘The Operator,’ was published in 2018 by All Things That Matter Press. His second novel, ‘Not on My Watch’, was published in 2021, and book three, ‘Special Delivery,’ an action and adventure romance, is now available on Amazon, along with a recently released anthology, ‘Journeys to Authorship’ which includes 14 Arizona authors outlining their varied journeys to becoming published. He has also self-published a book of poetry called “Observations and Distractions.”
